What is moment? The moment of a force is the product of the force and the perpendicular distance from the pivot to the line of action of force.

So what is length basically? It is the measurement of distance, or more simply, it is a physical quantity which tells us how far objects are. Its SI unit is metre (m). We can’t really use a single instrument to measure lengths of all magnitudes, can we? Of course not. So the instrument used depends on the magnitude of length to be measured.

A magnet exists naturally for example magnetite. These magnets attract certain materials like steel, cobalt and nickel. These materials are called magnetic materials. Have you ever tried attracting wood to a magnet? Do they attract?

Let us get started with the logic gates! We have many Logic Gates symbols i.e. the AND gate, the OR gate, NOT gate, the NAND gate and the NOR gate.

In this topic we will focus on refraction of light. It is the bending of light when it enters another medium. For example, if light enters from air to water, it will bend. This happens due to the change in speed of light as it changes medium.

Light is a form of energy which enables us too see. Light travels in straight lines, these lines are called light rays. A bundle of light rays forms a beam of light.

Today the topic we are going to study is the Kinetic Model of Matter. We have all studied it in the previous articles, easy wasn’t it? Let’s get started!

Kinematics is the study of speed, velocity, time and acceleration. We’ll study these quantities in more detail in this article.

So simply put, a force is a push or pull that an object exerts on the other. It produces or tends to produce motion (let’s say you push a wall, you are applying force but the wall does not move) or else, it stops or tends to stop motion. The SI unit of force is Newton (N). A force of one newton is roughly the amount of force with which the Earth’s gravity pulls an object of 0.1 kg i.e. 100g.
