ZIMSEC Results queries are only accepted within 42 days after publishing results.
**Re-Marks: Request for remark should be submitted through and supported by the School Head where the candidate wrote examinations. The cost is US20 or the equivalent per subject. Request for remark should be made within 42 days of publication of results.
** M symbol denotes Missing mark. This is usually due to the absence of CALA marks which the school should submit to ZIMSEC. If a candidate has this symbol they should go to the school and ask for a submission of results query to ZIMSEC and submit the appropriate CALA marks. This should be done within the 42-day window period
** X symbol denotes absent- This can either be missing CALA mark or absence to one of the exams (component) which complete the Subject. The school should submit an A results query to ZIMSEC where the issue will be rectified after the school has submitted the missing information.

Here is how to check for ZIMSEC ordinary-level results online

First, visit the correct website  https://dcmv1.zimsec.co.zw and follow the steps below!

1. Enter the six-digit Centre Number.

2. Enter the four-digit Candidate Number.

3. Choose a session from the drop-down list, either June or November.

4. Choose level from the drop-down list, either O'Level or A'level.

5. Enter the Year you sat for the exam.

6. Enter your Candidate Name as it appears on the statement of entry.

If the name typed differs in any way from the one on the statement of entry, the account will not be created.

7. Enter your date of birth, using the dd/mm/yyyyformat.

8. Enter a username that you would like to use for logging in to the application.

9. Enter a password, that comprises a capital letter, digits, and non-alphabetic characters. For example Zimsec123! would be a valid password.

10. Reenter the password in the confirm password text box.

11. Click the register button.

12. If account registration is successful, the application will redirect to the login screen.

13. If there are any errors, the application will display the errors on the screen.

14. It's important for the candidate to remember their Security Phrase and Username in case they lose their password.
